Ki-o-Rahi is the twentieth century 'umbrella' term for ancient forms of Maori ball play on fields with central tupu and boundary pou.

Taipa Area School at Doubtless Bay in the Far North of New Zealand is in the forefront of the revival and promotion of Ki-o-Rahi.

Small Blacks TV, hosted by Jason Faafoi, made a special trip to Taipa Area School in March 2010 to discover the wealth of young talent making a name for Ki-o-Rahi.

The Taipa Area School Ki-o-Rahi Development Squad, supporting staff and parents, wish to thank our supporters and sponsors for the generous contributions to our tour to Europe and to the development of this sport in our community.
